Celebrating with friends

Yesterday five of my wonderful friends & I went out to lunch to celebrate baby Charlotte. After lunch, we all gathered at my house where they showered me with gifts and laughter! As you can see, I am not the only one pregnant! Both my friends Nikki and Angelica are pregnant and due this Spring and my other friend, Heather, just had a beautiful little girl, Kate, in January! Kate joined in the celebrating yesterday :)

My Baby Shower

In January, my wonderful sister, Lisa, and Linda, and my awesome mother-law and sister-in-law, Babs and Kelley, threw me the perfect baby shower in Ohio. It was a great day and so nice to celebrate my pregnancy and Charlotte's arrival with all my family and friends. Thanks for a wonderful day!

Amelia, the dog

I thought I better introduce everyone to Amelia, our lovable French Bulldog, before Charlotte arrives and takes over all the posts! Amelia is the sweetest, laziest, funniest dog. She is a part of our family, and our best buddy. The first action shot makes her look a little rough....but the next two shots show the true Amelia. Even when Charlotte takes the spotlight after her arrival, Amelia will always be an important part of our family : ) And I'm sure she'll make her way in to many more posts!

Adding to the family.....

I haven't taken my photographs of myself pregnant, but this one taken over Thanksgiving is a keeper! While in Madison for Thanksgiving, Mary Jane, my niece, decided it was a great idea to decorate my belly with pictures of toys that her soon-t0-be cousin, Charlotte, might like. Mary Jane is very excited about the arrival of Charlotte...as we all are!
